No really. After you’re done snorting your morning coffee out your nose and wiping up the tears think about this one a little bit.  Bluegrass? Smurf picnic? Now, one could really imagine a bunch of little blue Smurfs having a picnic in the grass and all of them running in terror because of the big bad mower heading their way.  Or one could think of the little blue Smurfs as a picnic lunch for your lawn eating mower. (Lets just call it desert) But what popped into my mind right away was more of a red flag. “Beware of the Bluegrass! You might start seeing Smurfs.

I think I had this same conversation with my husband except he said he wanted to get ME one. Um, good try honey. I’ll remember that next time I want a girls week in Vegas. It’s really a trip for you sweetie pie. You get some great alone time with our manic depressive 2 year old and I get to revolutionize myself.

We all know how this feels. You get a great new toy for our kid, or for mommy, and after you’ve bent your scissors, sliced open your hand, and made sure your dentist had enough income that year to retire, you feel like giving up. But then after one more giant tug your manage to give birth to your new toy. It’s scratched up, your hand looks like it met an evil cat, and you’re sweating and swearing like a sailor. Oh sweet victory over the box!

Better than finding my used kleenex balls in the frying pan. Sadly they’ve replaced the rubber ducky she kept hidden in there. I can’t tell you how much I preferred to find that cute slightly soap scummy rubber ducky from the tub smiling up at me when I took the lid off a pan in my cabinet then my snotty kleenex balls that EJ finds so fascinating to steal out of the trash.  Ewww!
